What the Zelex Inspiration series is
Inspiration is the platinum silicone line from Zelex, launched in 2022, about a year before SLE, and Zelex calls it the brand’s highest level of craftsmanship. Since December 2023 it has offered full customization with 30 categories and 132 options, so an Inspiration doll is usually built to your order from the face to the feet.
One owner on a doll forum sums up the lineup in a line: SLE is ready-made configurations, Inspiration is detailed customization, and Fusion is close to Inspiration but with the head joined to the body.

Authorized dealers list Inspiration roughly 30–40% below the maker’s own store, so the dealer route is the cheaper way into the line. The price guide has current ranges.
Pick Inspiration for control and a firmer, more detailed finish; pick SLE for speed, a lower price and usually a lower weight.

Zelex Inspiration 1.0 and Inspiration 2.0
Inspiration 2.0, released in June 2025, is the current version. It builds on the 2022 originals, which introduced a movable jaw option and a new process for fixing the makeup, and from September 2025 the line started getting lighter.
Finer makeup and texture
Thinner makeup and a finer surface texture on both the head and the body, according to Zelex.

The hands got a new set of finger bones in the 2.0 update.
Bionic skin texture
What Zelex calls bionic skin texture now runs across the whole body.
Lighter bodies
From September 2025 Zelex began moving Inspiration 2.0 to its lightweight construction, cutting about 5 kg on average.
Inspiration offers five bodies. ZGX165F, ZG170C and ZG175E come in both 1.0 and 2.0; the newer ZG162D and ZG170D are 2.0 only and carried a $300 surcharge. In the maker’s configurator the step from 1.0 to 2.0 cost $279 as of October 2026. The body code guide explains how to read these names.
ZG162D, the first lightweight Inspiration body, is listed at 33.5 kg with the head, against 41.1 to 44.6 kg on older product pages for ZG170C, ZG175E and ZGX165F. Zelex’s collection filter now puts almost all Inspiration listings at 36–40 kg (79–88 lb). Weights differ by body and build date, so take the figure from the listing you order.
Inspiration heads, and how they fit SLE bodies
Inspiration heads carry GE numbers, and you choose the type. A hard head, which Zelex markets as more realistic, gives sharper facial details and longer-lasting makeup. A soft head has a hinged jaw that opens, closes and holds its position. The soft version of a sculpt gets its own GE number: soft GE94 is the same face as hard GE45.
Since April 2026 Zelex’s configurator also offers an Inspiration head, hard or soft, on an SLE body: $720 as of October 2026, against $800 for an Inspiration head on its own. That pairing puts a hard head and the Inspiration face range on the lower-priced SLE body. Five of the eight choices below cost nothing extra. The other three carry a surcharge in Zelex’s configurator as of October 2026, and dealers may price them differently.
